 The learners at Nuuyoma Senior Secondary School come from different parts of Oshikuku and surrounding areas, creating a diverse and vibrant student body. Many of them reside in the school’s hostel, which allows them to fully focus on their studies and participate in various school activities.  The learners are also guided by clear goals and aspirations, with many aiming to pursue higher education and contribute positively to their communities after completing secondary school. Beyond academics, the learners are actively involved in sports, cultural events, and community outreach programmes. Nuuyoma is known for having the only standard football field in the region, and its learners frequently take part in tournaments and extracurricular activities that build teamwork and leadership skills.
